Drop Off and Pick Up

We offer easy drive-up and drop off for parents starting at 8:15. We ask that you walk your child in on the first day to be sure their registration is complete and we have the most current contact information.  Campers meet in the cafeteria and mingle with their friends until camp starts. Then, campers are broken into grade-level groups based on the grade they will be entering in the fall.  Campers will stay with their counselors for the day and move from class to class as a group. At the end of the day we regroup in the cafeteria and do table activities until pickup at 4:30 pm. Parents must come into the vestibule and sign your child(ren) out for the day.

Allergies and Medical Needs

Some of our campers may have allergies and/or medical needs. We are happy to hold on to and administer emergency medications (such as EpiPens or inhalers), but we cannot give a child any prescription or over the counter medications during camp. If your child has emergency medications or other medical needs we need to be aware of, please mark it on your registration form. One of the directors will reach out to you prior to the start of camp. There are required forms that need to be completed by you and/or your doctor. Links to these forms are on our registration page.

JCIT (Junior Counselors in Training)

If you have a student entering 7th or 8th grade who likes working with children, then this may be a great opportunity for them. Junior CITs will attend a workshop each morning to learn about teamwork and leadership.

Some examples include:

  • child development (how to work with children)
  • communication skills (including written, spoken, and body language)
  • CPR and first aid certification through the American Heart Association
  • job skills (how and when to use your cell phone at work, how to show respect and kindness to others, importance of being on time, conflict resolution, etc.)

After that class they will help the counselors and teachers with daily routines and needs.  They will still participate in all the fun activities including visitors and field trips as a group.

Reading and Math Enrichment Class

The Reading and Math Enrichment class is a fun way for your child to avoid the "summer slide".  This class is taught by a certified reading specialist and exposes your child to fun, hands-on, grade level reading and math activities. The goal is to keep your child's skills sharp over the summer months. The class meets 3x a week and the cost is $60/week ($20/day). You can choose this option for each week you sign up your child.
